Find me in the San
Diego, CA Local Guide
Pictures I've Taken
I have been fortunate to be able to travel a lot in my life. I lived
in Holland for three years, and in London for 6 months.
Below are some pictures I have taken in my travels. A lot of them
are from London, one of my favorite places in the world. Many of
the rest are from San Diego, where I live.
The San Diego
Hyatt Regency hotel at Night. One of my favorites.
A close-up view of
a meerkat . What is a meerkat?
In Disney's "The Lion King", Timon was a meerkat.
This one is a little more serious than Timon. It appears
to care very deeply, in fact.
A shot of a
lion resting in the shade.
A close-up shot of
an otter taking a look around.
A view of the
San Diego skyline during the day .
The
San Diego skyline at night .
Kasteel
Hoensbroek , a castle in Holland which is located about 500
yards south of the house I lived in.
The courtyard of
Buckingham Palace , London.
A silhouette of
Tower Bridge in London.
The final resting place
of the battleship USS Texas in San Jacinto,
Texas.
Me, standing in front
of a pair of 15-inch naval guns mounted
outside the Imperial War Museum, London.
Tower
Bridge , seen from inside the Tower of London.
The
Queen Victoria Monument , located outside Buckingham Palace
The
Hotel Del Coronado , Built in San Diego around the turn of
the century.
The
National Gallery , taken from Trafalgar Square, London.
The main entrance to
St. Paul's Cathedral , London. This
is, by the way, one heck of a big church. The doors you
see are about 10 feet tall.
The
Palace at Westminster , where the British Parliament meets,
and the home of Big Ben. Big Ben is the rather large clock.
A Saturn
V-B rocket on display at the Lyndon B. Johnson Spaceflight
Center, Clear Lake City, Texas.
